About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Farm Manager to join our team in Nelspruit, where you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our farm. As a junior farm manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the farm, working closely with our experienced team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cattle checks first thing in the morning
- Report injuries, sickness, or abnormal behaviours immediately
- Assist with scheduled dipping (weekly Thursdays)
- Follow feeding schedules as per management instructions
Requirements
- Agricultural diploma/degree advantageous
- Farming background essential
- Previous experience with livestock farming
- Computer literate
- Being maintenance and mechanically minded
- Passion to learn
- Ability to work well in a team
- Valid drivers license
