About the Role

We are developing a high-quality, serene spa and medical aesthetics concept in Zanzibar, focused on excellence in service, calm sophistication, and long-term standards. This role is designed for a senior spa therapist from South Africa who is ready for an international chapter: delivering outstanding treatments, shaping service culture, and helping build a team that truly performs. This is not a volume spa. It is about precision, presence, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a consistently high standard of spa and aesthetic treatments
Conduct thorough consultations and tailor treatments to client needs
Ensure calm, professional, and attentive guest journeys from arrival to departure
Maintain excellent hygiene, safety, and treatment protocols at all times
Uphold and refine spa SOPs and treatment protocols
Act as a role model for professionalism, presence, and service etiquette
Identify service gaps and actively propose improvements

Requirements

Formal qualification in Somatology / Beauty Therapy (CIDESCO, ITEC, or equivalent)
Minimum 46 years experience in a high-quality spa or medical aesthetics environment
Strong treatment portfolio (massage, facials, body treatments; aesthetics an advantage)
Experience working in luxury, hotel, or medical spa environments
Comfortable training and mentoring junior therapists
Fluent English (additional languages an advantage)
