About the Role
A reputable construction contractor with a strong footprint across South Africa’s civil and infrastructure sectors is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Paarl. We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to assist with cost management, contract administration, and financial control on various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation for civil and construction projects
- Monitor project costs and ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage valuations, variations, and progress claims
- Conduct cost analysis and reporting to support project decision-making
- Assist with contract administration and procurement processes
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with contractual and financial requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Some proven experience on civil construction contracts
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proficiency in CCS Candy (advantageous)
