About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor at Vine Recruitment, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and tender documentation for luxury residential projects. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure projects remain within budget while maintaining premium quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documentation for luxury residential projects
  • Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings
  • Manage project budgets, cash flows, and cost reporting
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
  • Prepare and administer contracts and payment certificates
  • Monitor project variations and cost implications
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with architects, contractors, and clients
  • Ensure projects remain within budget while maintaining premium quality standards
  • Assist with procurement planning and value engineering

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • 3–8 years’ experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation
  • Proven experience on high-end or luxury residential projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QS software
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Boland area
