About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Controller for a well-established wine vineyard in Paarl. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong numerical skills, inventory management experience, and a passion for precision in stock control and logistics within a high-quality wine production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, track, and manage stock levels across the vineyard and cellar
- Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile physical stock with system records
- Ensure accurate recording of stock movements, deliveries, and usage
- Collaborate with production, sales, and logistics teams to forecast and manage inventory requirements
- Maintain proper storage conditions and organise stock according to best practices
- Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or overstock situations
- Assist with procurement and stock ordering to maintain operational efficiency
- Prepare regular reports for management on stock levels, movements, and trends
Requirements
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent numerical and data accuracy skills
- Experience with stock management systems and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of warehouse, storage, and logistics procedures
- Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
