About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager with expertise in fresh produce processing and canning/bottling to join our team at PAR EXCELLANCE in Polokwane. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with strong technical knowledge and analytical skills, able to drive continuous improvement across all production areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of production within the processing facility
- Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently/cost-effectively/safely
- Maintain food safety/quality standards
- Lead/monitor production resources/staff
- Continuously improve production processes/output/efficiency
- Report to Operations Manager
Requirements
- B.Eng/BSc Eng in Agricultural/Industrial Engineering
- Advanced MSOffice/Excel with 5+ years of experience in food/fresh produce processing/canning/bottling
- Strong communication/people management/analytical skills
- Financial acumen and budget control discipline
- Proven leadership experience in managing multiple production lines/teams
Qualifications
- Formal education in Agricultural/Industrial Engineering (Bachelor’s degree)
