About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Office Receptionist to join our team in providing exceptional support to residents and staff in a residential community setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception area and welcome visitors professionally.
  • Answer calls, take messages, respond to emails, and handle resident enquiries.
  • Assist new residents with admissions, forms, welcome packs, vehicle discs, and village procedures.
  • Coordinate communication through WhatsApp groups and PA announcements.
  • Handle mail, courier deliveries, laundry coin distribution, and meeting room bookings.
  • Maintain resident records, contact lists, birthday lists, and emergency information.
  • Support administration through filing, data entry, printing, scanning, and invoice processing.
  • Monitor office supplies, consumables, and reception equipment.
  • Assist residents with basic technical issues such as DSTV, prepaid meters, and handsets.
  • Support transport arrangements and report maintenance or security concerns.
  • Conduct stock counts, review records, and assist with operational reporting and compliance.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and courteous manner.
  • Good organisational and administrative ability.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask and handle resident concerns patiently.
  • Basic computer and office equipment knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.) are not required for this role.
