Luxury Safari Lodge Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)

Bushwise Recruitment, a specialist division focused on talent placement within the Southern African hospitality and safari sector, is seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor for a luxury lodge situated near Pongola, KwaZulu-Natal.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all daily housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning operations across the lodge, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
Maintain and enforce rigorous five-star cleaning and hygiene standards consistently.
Supervise, train, and mentor the housekeeping team to ensure service excellence and high performance.
Manage stock control, inventory, and procurement of cleaning supplies and linen, ensuring efficient budget management.
Monitor health and safety compliance within the department.
Coordinate effectively with the Front of House and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experience and prompt resolution of maintenance issues.

Requirements

Requirements & Experience:

Proven experience in a Supervisory or senior role within the Housekeeping department of a luxury lodge, hotel, or resort.
Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining immaculate property presentation.
Must be able to work independently and thrive in a remote, high-pressure hospitality environment.
Proficiency in relevant operational systems is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: R12,000.00 per month
Inclusions: Live-in accommodation, duty meals, and uniform provided
