Our client, a respected leader in the Security Industry, is looking for an experienced Control Room Manager to join their team in North End, Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:

PSIRA Registration (Minimum Grade B).

Matric (Grade 12) or higher qualification.
-
Minimum 5 years experience in a control room environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-
HR management experience (disciplinary processes, staff performance, leave/overtime management).
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
-
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Supervise and manage control room staff across multiple shifts, ensuring efficient coverage and optimal performance.

Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, policies, and procedures for monitoring, incident response, and reporting.

Oversee alarm events and incidents, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

Train, mentor, and evaluate operators to maintain high performance and adherence to protocols.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with IT/vendors for maintenance and upgrades.

Manage HR functions including attendance, leave, overtime, disciplinary processes, and performance reviews.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, PSIRA standards, and company policies.

Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

Collaborate with internal departments, law enforcement, and emergency services when required.

Maintain confidentiality and security of operational data and procedures.
