Our client in the Contracting, Insulation and Engineering industry is seeking to employ a Receptionist / Office Administrator to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related field advantageous)
  • Minimum 23 years’ experience in debtors and creditors administration
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in purchasing and supplier management
  • Proficient in Sage Accounting and Pastel 18 (essential)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organisational, planning, communication, and administrative abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Reliable, professional, and highly detail-oriented
  • Afrikaans and English bilingual ability advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the front face of the business, handling reception, client enquiries, and internal sales administration
  • Manage debtors and creditors functions, including invoicing, reconciliations, statements, collections, and supplier accounts
  • Coordinate purchasing activities, stock control, transportation, accommodation bookings, and general office administration
  • Maintain filing systems, office supplies, and company records
  • Provide administrative support to management and assist with ad hoc operational requirements
  • Perform a variety of duties across the business as part of a collaborative team environment

Additional Information:

  • Permanent position following successful completion of a 6-month probation period
  • Working Hours:
    • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 16:30
    • Friday: 07:30 13:30
    • Occasional month-end Saturday work may be required
