About the Role
We are a leading and well-established manufacturing company operating within the agricultural and grain milling sector, seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Representative to join our Marketing and Sales department. The primary purpose of this role is to solicit business on behalf of the company within the Eastern Cape, driving revenue growth while projecting a premium brand image.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and increase revenue by actively selling commodities, products, services, and business solutions to clients.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to proactively identify and capitalize on new opportunities for generating sales.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client and the business regarding product specifications, stock levels, and related operational concerns.
- Compile and present accurate reports on the effectiveness of sales strategies, marketing plans, and ongoing projects.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Matric / NQF Level 4).
- A Marketing, Sales, or Business-related Degree/Diploma will be highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing, specifically dealing with commodities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically within the Maize/Grain Milling industry.
Qualifications
- A valid driver’s license and reliable own transport are mandatory.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory is required.
