About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Sales Representative to join our team in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert advice on crop and soil needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship and Account Management
- New Business Development
- Understanding of specific crop and soil needs
- Conducting presentations and demonstrations to showcase product benefits to potential customers
- Providing pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance to address customer inquiries and concerns
- Developing cost estimates and proposals
- Generating reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights for management analysis
Requirements
- Gauteng BSc degree in Agriculture or related field
- 5 years of previous working experience in agricultural (fertiliser) sales industry
