Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Potchefstroom. As a key member of our maintenance and services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and services
- Diagnose and repair faults on various vehicle systems and components
- Test, diagnose & repair airbrake systems and suspension components
- Replace transmissions and clutch systems
- Replace diesel fuel systems and components
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues
Requirements
- Experience on FAW truck is essential
- Diesel Mechanic qualification is essential
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Accurate working ability with high attention to detail is essential
- Driver’s licence
- Code 14 advantageous
- Fluent in English
