About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, target-driven, and customer-focused New & Used Vehicle Sales Executive to join our busy dealership in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from lead generation and prospecting to vehicle demonstration, negotiation, and final delivery. You will be the face of our brand, building lasting relationships with customers and ensuring an exceptional purchasing experience while meeting ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process for new and used vehicles
- Prospect for new clients through cold calling, digital leads, networking, and referrals
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand customer requirements, budget, and lifestyle
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of the full range of new and used vehicles
- Demonstrate vehicles professionally and accompany potential buyers on test drives
- Manage vehicle appraisal process for trade-ins
- Negotiate terms and effectively close deals while maintaining dealership profit margins
- Present finance options and value-added products to customers
- Accurately complete all sales documentation, including Offers to Purchase (OTP), finance applications, and FICA/NCA compliance paperwork
- Ensure seamless and professional vehicle handover and follow up with customers post-sale
Requirements
- A valid, unendorsed South African Driver’s License
- A minimum of 2-3 years of proven sales experience specifically within the motor retail industry (selling new or used vehicles)
- Track record demonstrating a successful sales track record
- Clear criminal record and verifiable references
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12) Certificate
- Completion of any relevant courses or certifications in the automotive industry
