Role Responsibilities

Java Software Development on new projects, in a microservices environment.
Building of RESTful APIs.
Creating Angular-based front ends
Working in an Agile Team
Completing Tickets on time
Contributing to design sessions.
Analysing the impact of proposed changes to programs and providing estimates
Producing well-documented code that is easily maintainable and that adheres to functional and technical specifications
Adhering to technical standards
Assisting other developers
Performing quality assurance checks/code reviews
Contributing to the establishment of best practice standards
Preparing technical specifications
Performing unit and system testing
Understanding various design patterns or algorithms while still following best practices from different fields

Education and Experience

Bachelors of Science Degree is preferred or Diploma is required.
3+ years of professional software development experience
Solid development experience in Java (additional languages a plus)
Familiar with working in coding environments to exact deadlines
