Role Responsibilities

• Java Software Development on new projects, in a microservices environment.
• Building of RESTful APIs.
• Creating Angular-based front ends
• Working in an Agile Team
• Completing Tickets on time
• Contributing to design sessions.
• Analysing the impact of proposed changes to programs and providing estimates
• Producing well-documented code that is easily maintainable and that adheres to functional and technical specifications
• Adhering to technical standards
• Assisting other developers
• Performing quality assurance checks/code reviews
• Contributing to the establishment of best practice standards
• Preparing technical specifications
• Performing unit and system testing
• Understanding various design patterns or algorithms while still following best practices from different fields

Education and Experience

• Bachelors of Science Degree is preferred or Diploma is required.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Solid development experience in Java (additional languages a plus)
• Familiar with working in coding environments to exact deadlines
