About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee human resources operations across multiple hospitality properties in Bryanston, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel or lodge environments and be confident managing large teams and multi-site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full HR function across multiple hospitality properties
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and staff retention strategies
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and hospitality-specific practices
- Oversee payroll processes and systems
- Support operational teams with staffing, including seasonal workforce planning
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience as an HR Manager or Assistant HR Manager within a hotel or lodge environment
- Experience managing HR functions for 100 employees
- Exposure to multi-property hospitality operations
- Strong knowledge of:
- Hospitality labour practices
- Service charge structures
- Seasonal staffing requirements
- Payroll system experience (e.g. SAGE)
