About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Consultant to join our team in Pretoria, specifically targeting township markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and be able to drive business growth through effective prospecting, lead management, and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving stipulated sales goals in time and relevant KPI’s associated with the job description.
- Ensuring a sales lead pipeline is created through prospecting, lead management, merchant visits, and marketing.
- Preparing daily and weekly planning of sales activities.
- Making and receiving calls to promote products.
- Tracking and engaging in follow-up conversations with prospective clients.
- Connecting and building/maintaining relationships with the Customer Relationship Management Team within the retail environment.
- Building and maintaining relationships with respective merchants through regular merchant visits.
- Generating sales opportunities both internally and externally within the retail environment, including indoor and outdoor marketing events within the assigned geographical region.
- Recording all sales inputs via the CRM platform and diligently following up on all leads to ensure an acceptable conversion rate is achieved.
Requirements
Proven experience in financial services or banking sales is an advantage. A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
