About the Role

A well-established Specialist Orthopaedic Surgical Practice in Pretoria East is seeking an experienced and skilled Theatre Scrub Nurse to join their team as soon as possible. This position suits a confident and detail-oriented nurse with orthopaedic theatre experience who values precision, professionalism, and high surgical standards within a specialist practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with theatre preparation
  • Maintain sterile technique during surgical procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes
  • Coordinate with surgeons and anaesthetists as needed
  • Manage theatre inventory and supplies

Requirements

  • Active SANC registration
  • 2-5 years experience in Orthopaedic theatre scrubbing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Reliable transport (BCur Nursing Degree preferred)

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse qualification

Salary & Benefits

R50,000 – R60,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
