Job Description

A well-established Specialist Orthopaedic Surgical Practice in Pretoria East is seeking an experienced and skilled Theatre Scrub Nurse to join their team as soon as possible. This position suits a confident and detail-oriented nurse with orthopaedic theatre experience who values precision, professionalism, and high surgical standards within a specialist practice. Position Details: Location: Pretoria East Start Date: As soon as possible Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – end of list (usually between 16:00-18:00) Salary: R50,000 – R60,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications) Minimum Requirements: Registered Nurse qualification Active SANC registration 2-5 years experience in Orthopaedic theatre scrubbing Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Must be willing to work full-time in Pretoria East Reliable transport Preferred: BCur Nursing Degree preferred (experienced/suitably qualified candidates will also be considered) Experience in a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgical Practice Key Competencies: Advanced orthopaedic theatre scrubbing expertise Thorough knowledge of sterile technique and theatre protocols Strong attention to detail and clinical precision Professional and confident in theatre and team-based settings Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to type quickly and accurately using both hands Strong organisational and administrative ability This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Orthopaedic Theatre Scrub Nurse seeking a stable, specialist environment with structured weekday working hours.
