About the Role

The Junior Farm Manager position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our farm in Prieska. As a Junior Farm Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the farm, including farming activities, maintenance, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and implementing farming activities
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Monitor crop health and implement necessary measures to prevent disease and pests
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and data entry
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve farm goals

Requirements

  • Agricultural diploma or degree advantageous
  • Farming background essential
  • Experience with grapes and crops (maize & lucerne) required
  • Computer literate
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Maintenance orientated
  • Valid driver’s license
