Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to oversee our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with press operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of all machinery, leading the maintenance team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, particularly with press machinery.
- Train and mentor team members on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, with a focus on mechanical systems and press operations.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours if required.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to various sites as needed.
