About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to oversee our maintenance team at Rosslyn. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with press operations, ensuring the efficient functioning of all machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, particularly with press machinery.
- Train and mentor team members on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Education: Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, with a focus on mechanical systems and press operations.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
