Rustenburg: Lady Cleaner

About the Role

The Lady Cleaner position is a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our building, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping or vacuuming
• Gathering and emptying dustbins
• Servicing, cleaning and supplying restroom facilities
• Following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Checking electrical appliances when working near them and ensuring no cables are pulled out
• Moving furniture, equipment and supplies away from clean areas
• Notifying management of damaged equipment or repairs needed
• Sweeping outside area nearby cars and front of office
• Cleaning windows, glass partitions and mirrors
• Assisting with carpet cleaning as and when required on site and by clients

Requirements

Skills in cleaning and maintenance are essential for this role. A good understanding of chemical cleaners and power equipment is also necessary.

Qualifications

Formal education or equivalent experience in cleaning or a related field is an asset, but not mandatory.
