This role is essential to ensuring the property remains beautifully maintained, safe, and fully operational at all times, delivering the exceptional guest experience this establishment is known for.

Core criteria: 

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician/Handyman (hospitality experience essential)
• Strong skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
• Valid driver’s licence preferred
• Should be able to use a computer (semi-skilled)
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on tasks
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work without constant supervision
• Professional appearance and a genuine, guest-oriented attitude
• Must live onsite and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily maintenance checks across the hotel 
• Carry out preventative maintenance schedules and respond to urgent repairs
• Attend to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general daily maintenance tasks
• Maintain all equipment, tools, and machinery in good working order
• Oversee contractors and service providers when required
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
• Support the hotel team with any facility-related needs
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and inventory levels
• Be able to call suppliers to enquire about availability on tools, equipment etc
