About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client in the telecommunications industry is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Developer to join their team in Sandton, Gauteng. Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and architecture, ensuring scalable and robust software solutions.
- Drive key technical decisions regarding architecture and technology stack.
- Develop high-quality, secure code following best practices.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues proactively.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering team growth.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, QA, design).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Document all aspects of development, design, and monitoring.
- Monitor application performance using tools.
- Stay updated with the latest industry technologies, especially in telecoms.
- Work within Agile frameworks, assisting with estimations and reporting progress.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks in projects.
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of software development experience with a strong project portfolio.
- Expertise in .NET (C#), JavaScript/React, and SQL (MSSQL/MySQL).
- Solid understanding of APIs (RESTful) and software design patterns.
- Proficiency with Git, Agile/Scrum, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
