Job Description

Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment firm, is currently seeking a skilled Construction Site Foreman for a construction company in Cape Town. As a Construction Site Foreman, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing construction activities at the site. We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual who can effectively coordinate and supervise the construction crew while ensuring quality, safety, and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee construction activities at the site
Supervise and manage the construction crew, including subcontractors
Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines
Monitor progress, address issues, and ensure high-quality work
Plan and allocate resources effectively
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders
Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety regulations
Prepare and submit reports on project progress

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Construction Site Foreman or similar role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficient in using construction software/tools
Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in construction management is a plus
