About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Field Guide to join our Big 5 lodge at Manyoni Game Reserve in Kwa-Zulu Natal. As a Junior Field Guide, you will have the opportunity to grow within a wildlife-focused environment and develop your guiding skills in a unique and exciting setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct two guided drives daily (morning & afternoon)
- Deliver engaging Big 5, predator, herbivore & birding experiences
- Share ecological and wildlife knowledge confidently
- Ensure guest safety and quality guiding standards
- Assist in observing and reporting wildlife activity
Requirements
- FGASA qualification (minimum Level 1)
- CATHSSETA NQF 2 Nature Site Guide
- Drivers License and PDP
- Valid First Aid
- Birding knowledge (courses advantageous; strong ID skills essential)
- Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH)
- Off-road driving skills
