Requirements: 58 years luxury wedding and events coordination experience Experience in hotels, wedding venues, or destination hospitality Proven experience managing high-end weddings/events Team leadership experience Strong operational and planning capability Excellent communication and client management skills Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously Boutique or luxury hospitality experience advantageous Conference/event exposure advantageous Working Hours This is a senior operational role requiring flexibility, including weekends, public holidays, peak wedding periods, and on-site leadership during events. About the Role The Lead Wedding & Events Coordinator will lead the Wedding & Events Coordination team, ensuring the seamless planning and delivery of weddings and events from post-sale handover through to completion. The department manages approximately 75 weddings per year , operating in a high-volume luxury environment. This role leads a team of three coordinators , ensuring strong workflow management, accountability, consistency, and service excellence. The position suits a calm, organised, guest-focused events professional with strong luxury wedding experience and leadership ability in a premium hospitality environment. The role reports directly to the Head of Events and works closely with operations, accommodation, food & beverage, culinary, and suppliers to ensure flawless execution. The ideal candidate is: Professional, calm, confident, and guest-focused Strong in luxury wedding and event coordination Highly organised and detail-oriented Able to manage multiple events simultaneously A natural leader and team mentor Solution-driven and calm under pressure Strong in client relationship management Experienced in supplier coordination and venue operations Passionate about service excellence and consistency Duties: Lead and manage a team of 3 Wedding & Events Coordinators Oversee workflow, event allocation, timelines, and planning schedules Manage the full post-sale wedding journey from handover to completion Conduct client meetings, planning sessions, and coordination timelines Ensure venue readiness, setup standards, and operational execution Coordinate suppliers, logistics, and event delivery requirements Act as escalation point for client concerns and service recovery Maintain strong guest experience and service standards Support revenue growth through upselling, upgrades, and payment follow-ups Ensure timely post-event account closure and administration Work closely with all operational departments for seamless delivery Monitor client feedback, reviews, and service performance Provide reporting and recommendations for continuous improvement
