Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Anchor & Maintenance Manager Couple to join our luxury game lodge in Sabi Sands. As a couple who thrive in a remote bush environment and are passionate about hospitality and operations, you will be an integral part of delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will work closely with our General Manager and support the day-to-day operations of the lodge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support daily lodge operations
  • Assist with guest relations, ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Support the General Manager and act as second-in-command when required
  • Maintain high standards across housekeeping, front of house, and F&B departments
  • Host guests during meals and other lodge activities
  • Provide administrative assistance, including stock control and orders
  • Manage all maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Oversee lodge infrastructure including plumbing, electrical, vehicles, and generators
  • Coordinate with external service providers when required
  • Ensure health and safety compliance across the property
  • Maintain tools, workshop, and all technical equipment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar couples role in a high-end lodge environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and guest relations abilities
  • Technical knowledge in areas such as plumbing, electrics, mechanics, and general maintenance
  • Ability to live and work in a remote bush setting
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and conservation
