South Africa: Logistics Specialist

Can You?: Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics, transportation, and distribution activities. Develop strategies to optimise supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. Manage relationships with transporters, warehouses, and third-party logistics providers. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control and reporting. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations across all logistics operations. Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team to achieve operational excellence. Analyse data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Do You Have?: A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent knowledge of transport regulations, customs, and inventory management systems. Proficiency in ERP/logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Syspro, and Oracle). An analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
