? ?? ??????????? ??????????? is assisting an award-winning luxury safari lodge in Tanzania to recruit an experienced culinary leader as a ?????? ???? ???? The Head Pastry Chef will lead the pastry division, creating exceptional, world-class desserts and baked goods that enhance a refined guest experience. This role oversees all pastry operations across the property, ensuring consistency, creativity, and the highest culinary standards. The successful candidate will mentor and inspire a passionate kitchen team while maintaining strong organisation and operational excellence. A hands-on leader, they will thrive in a remote, high-end hospitality environment where attention to detail and innovation are essential. Key Duties & Responsibilities Lead and manage all pastry kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and quality Design and execute innovative dessert menus aligned with luxury dining standards Maintain high levels of food quality, presentation, and hygiene compliance Train; mentor, and develop junior pastry staff Manage stock control, ordering, and cost management within budget Ensure adherence to health & safety and food safety standards Collaborate closely with Executive Chef and culinary team on menu planning Oversee daily production planning and kitchen organisation Maintain cleanliness and efficient workflow within the pastry section Drive creativity and continuous improvement within the pastry offering Skills & Requirements Formal culinary or pastry qualification essential for work visa application Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in luxury hospitality Strong background in fine dining, boutique hotels, or luxury lodges Excellent leadership and team development skills Strong organisational and time-management abilities Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards Creative flair with attention to detail and presentation Ability to work in remote environments and adapt to lodge operations Good communication and collaboration skills Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences A food portfolio must be submitted with your application that clearly displays your creativity, innovation and attention to detail.
