Job Description

The Pest Control Officer is responsible for providing professional pest management services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The role involves inspecting premises, identifying pest infestations, implementing appropriate treatment solutions, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid South African Driver’s Licence
  • Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit / P Number)
  • Registered Pest Control Operator (PCO) 
  • Previous pest control experience advantageous, minimum 2 years
  • Ability to work independently and manage a service route
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to complete service documentation accurately
  • Physically fit and able to work in various environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment methods.
  • Apply pesticides and pest control treatments in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.
  • Provide clients with recommendations for pest prevention and control.
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate treatment records.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and used correctly.
  • Comply with health, safety, environmental, and company standards.
  • Manage company vehicle, tools, and stock responsibly.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide professional service at all times.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
