About the Role

We are seeking a Play Area Attendant to join our team at a wine estate in Stellenbosch I Brackenfell, where you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children using our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor children constantly to prevent accidents and injuries, ensuring a secure environment.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitizing toys, equipment, and the play area.
  • Organize and lead games, crafts, and interactive activities for various age groups.
  • Greet families warmly, manage registration/check-in, and communicate rules effectively.
  • Provide first aid or handle emergencies in accordance with safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Energetic; patient, and engaging personality.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and engage in active play for extended periods.

Qualifications

No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, a valid CPR/First Aid certificate is essential.
