Job Description Job Title: Sage Intacct Accountant Country: Status: Qualifications / Certifications Mandatory Bachelors degree in Accounting Certified Public Accountant Experience Requirements Minimum Experience 3 years of experience in accounting Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles Proficient with Sage Intacct is a requirement (experience with other Sage products will not be considered equivalent) Comfortable working US hours (46 hour overlap, client dependent) Preferable Prior experience in public accounting or another professional services organization Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) is beneficial Role Overview Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while maintaining exceptional focus and attention to detail. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and perform detailed general ledger reconciliations Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Validate supporting documentation, identify discrepancies, and resolve or escalate issues as needed Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll support, and bank reconciliations Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls Utilize accounting systems to perform accurate data entry and maintain proper documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting and reporting objectives Meet firm productivity, utilization, and training requirements Professional Attributes Strong verbal and written communication skills Good time management and organization skills Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good aptitude for learning and understanding various technical software Good aptitude for collaboration with peers during decision-making, planning, and execution phases High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency driving results Ability to positively and proactively manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to be a team-player who quickly builds trust and collaborative working relationships without falling into group thinking Ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, ethics, and a positive attitude Technical Requirement NB: Internet requirement is a Fibre connection with a verified bandwidth of at least 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload , and a latency not exceeding 30ms .
