About the Role
The Junior Sales Consultant role at Greys Recruitment is a key position in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and providing support to the senior sales team. This position is essential in delivering customized telecommunications solutions that meet the internet, voice, and connectivity requirements of our corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Upselling
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals.
- Support contract negotiations under the guidance of senior sales staff.
- Close smaller sales deals with supervision.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs.
- Share insights to help refine product offerings and sales strategies.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our telecommunications products and services.
- Clearly articulate product features and benefits to potential clients.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems.
- Prepare periodic sales reports for internal review.
- Focus primarily on the Western Cape region.
- Travel to client sites within the region to present solutions and close deals.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and professionalism in cold calling and client meetings
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of the telecommunications industry (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Qualifications
Matric Certificate
Fluent in English
Previous sales experience is advantageous
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
