Durban: Procurement Administrator

About the Role

Simbithi Country Club is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to support our purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the distribution and monitoring of F&B stock management in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock requisition registers to account for issued stock.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations/stock counts.
  • Assist in investigating stock variances.
  • Record all orders placed on a daily basis.
  • Ensure all received stock is properly accounted for, verifying quality and quantity.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock deliveries and liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Follow the GRV process for recording stock received.
  • Submit GRV, signed order sheet, and supplier delivery note/invoice to the Club Accountant.
  • Verify that recipes align with stock distribution and allocation.
  • Adhere to cost-of-sales limits.
  • Effectively manage the storeman to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Perform any ad hoc tasks related to the role.

Requirements

• Matric certificate

• Tertiary qualification within food and beverage/procurement or related

• 3 Years experience within a food and beverage procurement department

• MS Excel Intermediate, Word, Email, and Internet

• Valid driver’s license

About the Role

The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of consumables and materials to our operations in Durban.

Key Responsibilities
