About the Role
Simbithi Country Club is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to support our purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the distribution and monitoring of F&B stock management in line with standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of stock requisition registers to account for issued stock.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations/stock counts.
- Assist in investigating stock variances.
- Record all orders placed on a daily basis.
- Ensure all received stock is properly accounted for, verifying quality and quantity.
- Maintain accurate records of stock deliveries and liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
- Follow the GRV process for recording stock received.
- Submit GRV, signed order sheet, and supplier delivery note/invoice to the Club Accountant.
- Verify that recipes align with stock distribution and allocation.
- Adhere to cost-of-sales limits.
- Effectively manage the storeman to achieve departmental objectives.
- Perform any ad hoc tasks related to the role.
Requirements
• Matric certificate
• Tertiary qualification within food and beverage/procurement or related
• 3 Years experience within a food and beverage procurement department
• MS Excel Intermediate, Word, Email, and Internet
• Valid driver’s license
