About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at a family resort in Pilanesburg, North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of our business. Due to the urgent nature of this role, we require someone who can start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of financial operations
Prepare and review financial statements
Develop and implement budgets and forecasts
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Utilize accounting software (preferably SAGE) for data entry and reporting
Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity

Requirements

BCom Degree in Finance
Minimum 5–7 years’ finance experience, with at least 3 years as a Financial Controller within a multi-unit resort
Accounting software proficiency
MS Office skills
Knowledge of Inventory, Property Management, and Point of Sale systems
Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a hotel environment
