About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building projects and be able to manage a small team of surveyors. If you have a proven track record in motivating and mentoring staff, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction methods and measuring outputs
- Project programming and scheduling
- Financial reporting (per site and project)
- Contract law and insurances
- SHEQ legislation and implementation
- Site staff management (including IR, if the need arises)
- Managing a small team of surveyors
Requirements
- Completed degree in Quantity Surveying
- 8+ years experience in building projects on a national basis
- Certification in CCS (Construction Contract Administration Society) is essential
Qualifications
- Formal education in Quantity Surveying
