Location: Swellendam
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Maintenance Co-Ordinator to join our team in Swellendam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, overseeing repairs and improvements, and ensuring that all facilities are in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities for all facilities and equipment.
2. Oversee and manage repairs to buildings, equipment, and systems.
3. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks.
4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed and upcoming tasks.
5. Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service.
6. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
7. Train and supervise maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective performance.
8. Monitor budget and expenses related to maintenance activities.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
2. Strong organizational and time management skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
7. Certification in facilities management or a related field is preferred.
