About the Role
The Shift Supervisor â Plate Making role is a critical position in our manufacturing environment, requiring an experienced professional to oversee production activities, ensure quality standards, and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise plant production and maintenance activities
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are met
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and minimise downtime
- Enforce Health & Safety and company procedures
- Manage and develop staff performance
- Monitor costs and ensure efficient use of resources
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Technical / Production Certificate (NQF 5)
- Diploma in Technical / Production field advantageous
- Trade Test advantageous
- 35 years experience in manufacturing / production environment
- Minimum 12 years supervisory experience
- Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP / ERP preferred)
