About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team in Vereeniging. As a key member of our administrative support, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. Your excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining accurate records, managing executive calendars, and coordinating office activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external communication.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls and emails appropriately.
- Draft, review, and distribute correspondence such as emails, letters, and memos.
- Manage executive and team calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
- Organize travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
- Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes during meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for the department or organization.
- Generate reports and presentations as needed for management.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies for record-keeping and data security.
- Assist in planning and executing internal and external events, meetings, or conferences.
- Coordinate catering, venue bookings, and technology setup for events.
- Manage expense reports, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Assist in budget tracking and reporting.
- Liaise with finance for timely processing of payments and reimbursements.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate
- Proven experience in administrative roles or similar positions.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Completed National Senior Certificate
