About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst to join our team at Communicate Finance. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving financial processes, providing insights to inform business decisions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and map current financial processes to identify gaps and bottlenecks
- Design futurestate workflows that improve accuracy and reduce manual effort
- Lead process-improvement initiatives and track their impact
- Create detailed SOPs, documentation, and workflow diagrams
- Evaluate financial data to uncover trends, anomalies, and improvement areas
- Build reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Provide insights to improve financial decision-making
- Support monthend and yearend financial analysis
- Develop automated dashboards and reporting tools
- Build financial models to support strategic planning
- Identify control weaknesses and implement improvements
- Conduct financial risk assessments and propose mitigations
- Monitor compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Analyse and improve compliance processes
- Support marketplace seller compliance and related reporting
- Identify automation opportunities across financial processes
- Partner with tech teams to implement system enhancements
- Validate and document system requirements and process changes
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Process improvement expertise (Lean, Six Sigma advantageous)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau / Looker / Qlik
- Knowledge of SQL is advantageous
- Familiarity with process mapping tools such as Visio or Lucidchart
- Understanding of ERP systems

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or similar
