Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to identify trends and insights
  • Develop reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
  • Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
  • Present findings in a clear and actionable manner

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a Data Analyst or similar role
  • Experience working with large datasets and data visualisation tools
  • Proven ability to translate data into business insights

Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
  • Understanding of databases and data warehousing concepts

Non-negotiables:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Based in the Western Cape or open to opportunities within the region
