Salary: Negotiable depending on experience (DOE) Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an exceptional General Manager to oversee hospitality and tourism operations within a luxury conservation-based environment in Mozambique. This is a high-profile leadership role for an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in safari tourism and a proven track record in senior management within leading safari or luxury lodge operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, and leading a high-performing team while aligning all operations with strong conservation and community values. ? Role Overview Oversee all on-the-ground hospitality and tourism operations Ensure exceptional service delivery and consistent 5-star guest experiences Maintain operational excellence across all departments Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse hospitality team Report directly to executive leadership and contribute to strategic direction Ensure all operations align with conservation and community-focused values Drive high performance standards across all lodge and tourism functions Maintain strong financial, operational, and service delivery oversight ? Key Requirements Extensive experience in luxury safari or high-end hospitality operations Proven track record in senior management or General Manager-level roles Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large, diverse teams Deep understanding of safari tourism operations and guest experience delivery Strong financial and operational management capability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to perform in remote and high-pressure environments Passion for conservation, sustainability, and community-driven tourism ?
