About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join our team in Witbank. As a key member of our administrative support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our project management processes, including procurement, maintenance scheduling, and data capturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with obtaining and evaluating quotations & prices on technical items / equipment / parts / spares
- Get approvals and generate purchase orders on the system
- Provide administration support to ensure Preventative maintenance, Predictive vibration analysis, IR Scanning and performance evaluation are performed as per schedule
- Maintain records of spares / tools & equipment
- Capture data on current Asset & Maintenance system (Service Manager) and assist with setting up / adding new functions including logsheets
- Produce job cards / Preventative Maintenance schedules & checklist on weekly / monthly basis
- Assist with reports for contract & projects progress meeting preparation & requirements from the database system
- Deliver documents as required
- Provide continuous efficient and professional office administration, including typing, filing, record keeping, etc.
- Perform general and any other required secretarial and administrative functions
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of Grade 12 qualification
- Minimum of 3 years of proven administrative experience in project / asset management / plant operations
- Tertiary qualification with further studies / courses relevant to administration & management skills
