About the Role
Experienced Fitters (Mechanical) are urgently needed to support heavy plant manufacturing equipment maintenance and reliability in Mpumalanga. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing critical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair gearboxes, bearings, feed systems and rotating equipment
- Support presses, dryers, conveyors and utilities
- Conduct shutdown and breakdown maintenance
- Work with engineering and planning units to sustain operations
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality work standards
Requirements
- Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Millwright (Red Seal preferred) or equivalent
- 5+ years industrial plant mechanical experience / Industrial Installation L.D.C. Projects
- Strong fault-finding and heavy plant skills
- Welding and fabrication advantageous
- Safety culture and teamwork
- Traceable & contactable references
