About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial & Showroom Administrator to join our team at Status Staffing in the Western Cape region. As a permanent employee, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance department and ensuring the smooth operation of the showroom.
Key Responsibilities
- General finance administration
- Petty cash processing and Reconciliation
- Cash book processing and reconciliation
- Debtors Reconciliations and Queries
- Processing and Reconciliation of Local creditor accounts
- Processing of Adhoc/Nominal payments and beneficiaries
- Updating and maintaining filing system and records
- Assisting with Stocktaking where needed
- Identifying and addressing any discrepancies
- Showroom Administrative tasks
- Assisting FM and Directors with adhoc tasks to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Bookkeeping certificate or similar
- 2-5 years experience in finance required
- Previous experience with Pastel and iQ Retail advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of Accounting principles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Hard working and self-motivated
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with a cross functional team
- Own transport
