Job Summary
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant financial regulations.
- Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and working capital.
- Coordinate and prepare for year-end audits.
- Assist in developing financial policies, controls, and procedures.
- Support business units with financial insights and recommendations.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed BCom Accounting / BCompt / CA(SA) or equivalent qualification.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in a Financial Controller or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting systems (e.g., Pastel, SAP, or similar).
- Media industry experience advantageous but not essential.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
