About the Role
Our client, a leading provider of cutting-edge digital services to the mining industry, is seeking an experienced Lead Monitoring Engineer with 7+ years of experience in process monitoring and/or analytics. The successful candidate will play a critical role in improving the health and performance of industrial processes across multiple client sites by leveraging advanced data analysis tools and their knowledge of process engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in weekly and bi-weekly monitoring meetings with customers to analyze process trends and drive issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to enhance process monitoring capabilities and digital solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, presenting technical findings and building long-term partnerships.
- Drive case management, reporting, and technical support for clients.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in process monitoring, data analytics, and preferably processing on-site.
- Background in process control, optimisation, and automation within industrial settings.
- Experience with process monitoring, PID control, Advanced Process Control (APC), and industrial instrumentation is beneficial.
- Data analytics experience, including working with tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, and industrial data platforms (e.g., historians).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, or Process Engineering (postgraduate qualification beneficial).
- Relevant work experience and certifications will be considered.
