About the Role
The Employee Relations Manager position at rectitude recruit in Lichtenburg is a critical role that requires an individual with extensive experience in labour relations and human resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with various labour legislations, implementing HR policies and procedures, and leading the company’s workforce. A strong understanding of legal frameworks and excellent communication skills are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations and conflicts
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Analyze labour legislation to ensure compliance
- Provide training and guidance to employees on labour laws and regulations
- Foster positive relationships with trade unions and governing bodies
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate is essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Labour Relations or LLB Degree is required
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a similar role, with at least two (2) years in management/leadership capacity
- Strong understanding of labour legislation, including BCEA, LRA, SD 13, EEA, SDA, COIDA, OHSA, and POPIA
Qualifications
- Honours Degree in Human Resources/Labour Relations or LLB Degree is advantageous
- Relevant certifications or diplomas (if applicable)
