Job Description
A leading packaging company that delivers tailor-made packaging solutions is seeking a SHEQ-R / Quality Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain the companys SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) management systems.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.) and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Lead and manage internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Monitor, measure, and report on SHEQ performance indicators.

Conduct risk assessments and ensure corrective and preventative actions are in place.
-
Promote a strong safety and quality culture across all levels of the organization.
-
Provide SHEQ training and awareness programs to staff.
-
Investigate incidents, accidents, and non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain up-to-date SHEQ documentation, procedures, and policies.

Liaise with external stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required
Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Quality Management, Safety, Environmental, or Engineering (National Diploma or Degree preferred).

Strong knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements.

Minimum 5 years experience in SHEQ or Quality Management, preferably in manufacturing, corrugated, or packaging industries.

Proven experience in managing audits and certification processes.

Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and risk management.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Ability to train, mentor, and influence staff across departments.
-
Computer literacy (MS Office, QMS software).
-
South African citizen with a stable employment track record.
